This love will never stop

Sometimes you love some musician and feel so sure you´ll love them for the rest of your life because everything they do seem to fit where you are in your life. And then they begin to do boring music and you stop loving them.... (sorry, but I really can´t mention all my lost loved ones here... there´s a lot and that would be a bit mean too ).

I have one love I feel confident will never stop. I simply can´t imagine it ever stopping. I´m totally addicted to this voice, this very magical voice.

There´s a whole life in that voice with fear, love, regret -  his life or my life or your life.... I´ve been addicted since 1999 and I´m still addicted. I even did know him before 1999 and liked him, but the details of that are sort of lost in my memory.... I wasn´t that sober in those days either.

Of course I´m talking about Joakim Thåström, who else could it be?
He even started out my artistic carriere because his 1999 album "Det e dom som e dom konstiga, det e jag som är normal" made such a strong impression on me, that I simply had to do something. Which turned out to be art.

On my webpage www.sadie.dk under Gallery you can see 3 long white silk dresses, called T(håström) Tripthycon. They are really my first sculpture, and my picture of what you looks like inside when you listen to Joakim Thåström. Here´s one of the photos, detailed photos can be seen on my website (crappy little photo, but I´m too lazy to find the flash usb with the big versions on it;-):

I even made him a hooded linen jacket with a angel with a sun in her hands painted on silk inside to throw light over his heart, and a little book with my scultures and my devotion to him.
I never heard anything back on that, but knowing about him meant that I had forgiven him for that already before I posted the stuff. So don´t worry; I still love you;-)

Here´s a video from the cd Skebokvarnsv. 209. It´s in swedish, but give it a try anyway even if you don´t understand the words:

Joakim Thåström Om black Jim

And here´s one of my favourite videos of him. I fear you might have to know a little history to fully appreciate this, but to me it´s one of the most beautiful videos ever:

Joakim Thåström & Mikael Wiehe - Keops pyramid Live

Here´s a picture. It´s taken by Jonas Linell (click to see bigger size):
